Slowinski Nationalpark

The first renaturation areas financed by the International Moor Conservation Fund are located on Poland's Baltic Sea coast and cover a total of more than 900 hectares. As a result of decades of drainage, these moors lose their original function as CO2 reservoirs over the course of time. Together with the Polish NABU partner association "Klub Przyrodników", the intention is to return the moors to their natural state through the accumulation of water.
